My time working at the Minnesota Capitol as a legislative assistant to senate leadership, along with studies of legal criminal justice, government and the Constitution provide me with a healthy understanding of what needs to occur to move our state forward economically.
As your representative I am determined to take the constitutional approach to legislating. The Declaration of Independence states Life, Liberty, and Pursuit of Happiness. As a constitutionalist, I value life first and foremost and Bill of Rights in it’s original content.
Friends and neighbors,
Just like you, I deeply love this country, and I am passionate about our great state of Minnesota. The citizens in Anoka and Ramsey (district 35A) are strong examples of American exceptionalism and of a desire to live free and prosper. Supporting my candidacy for state representative, and hiring me as your citizen-legislator, I will continue to champion the bedrock principles that all Minnesotans care about.
As a small business owner, wife and homeschool mother, I support supply side economics, allowing families and job creators to keep more of their hard-earned dollars, which are inherently put to better use when remaining in the hands of citizens, not government.
My desire is to take my experience and expertise to St. Paul to help bridge local government entities, allowing them to become more efficient and able to better meet the needs of the community. After listening to you and understanding your thoughts, I am eager to serve my friends and neighbors at the state level.
My time spent working at the Minnesota Capitol as a legislative assistant to senate leadership, along with my studies of legal criminal justice, government and the Constitution have given me a healthy understanding of what needs to occur to move our state forward economically, and I am seeking to take the steps necessary to make our state more fiscally responsible.
As your representative I intend to take a constitutional approach to legislating. What does this mean to you? It means I will hold this privilege of being your voice at the capitol in light of this responsibility being none other than that of a citizen-legislator position.
In our magnificent country, no one person needs to be affiliated with a particular class, race, social hierarchy or economic status in order to enjoy equal freedoms that the nation and state have to offer. At its simplest definition, this is true equality. It’s also one of the unique ideas and principles that set the mark for two of the greatest documents in the history of our nation – the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. What I cherish most about these great documents, is that for the first time in history, we the people have a social contract that says NO ONE is above the law, including politicians!
Legislating with these constitutional principles rooted deep in my heart and mind, I aim to be, first and foremost, a public servant working to protect the freedoms of ALL citizens in our district. The proper and moral role of a public servant is to enforce the rule-of-law with no special exemptions for a class of elite. As your representative in St. Paul, you can count on me to be a liberty torchbearer for the citizens of Anoka and Ramsey.
